Terms of service

These terms govern your use of PlayedBy (the “Service”), operated by an individual seller based in India. By using the Service you agree to them.

The Service

PlayedBy helps game developers discover YouTube and Twitch creators who recently covered games similar to theirs, using data from the official YouTube Data API and Twitch API, and generates editable pitch drafts. We don't guarantee coverage, replies, sales, or the completeness or accuracy of third-party data.

Accounts

You need a valid email address to use the Service. You're responsible for activity on your account. Free accounts include one search.

Subscriptions and payments

• Paid plans (Indie, $19/month; Studio, $49/month) are sold and billed by Whop, our merchant of record, under Whop's own terms. Prices are in USD and may include applicable taxes collected by Whop.
• Plans renew monthly until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your Whop account; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds are handled case by case through Whop. If something isn't working, contact us first and we'll make it right.

Acceptable use

• Contact creators respectfully, only through channels they publish, and follow anti-spam laws (e.g. CAN-SPAM, GDPR) and each platform's rules.
• Don't use the Service to harass anyone, send bulk unsolicited messages, scrape, resell data, or attempt to bypass usage limits.
• You must comply with the YouTube Terms of Service and Twitch Terms of Service when using creator information.

Intellectual property

Creator names, channel content and stats belong to their owners and platforms. The PlayedBy software and design are ours. Pitch drafts you generate are yours to use.

Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

Termination

We may suspend accounts that break these terms. You can stop using the Service at any time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
